ABOUT
We are a family seeking to live an integrated and faithful life in the city we love, the city we call home. We are followers of Jesus, trying in our own broken and imperfect way to honor Him and share His persistent hope and breathtaking love with the people who cross our paths each day. We want every aspect of our lives: work and home, education and recreation, family and friendships, finances and worldview - even the ordinary, mundane decisions, choices, and thoughts that make up our days to be integrated into and directed by our faith. We want to live a life unseparated into convenient, isolated spheres, a life that sometimes gets messy in its unity. This is our hope: to lead an indivisible life.
Us
We are Julia and Dennis. We met in college and became good friends. Then we moved on, lost touch, and five or so years and a fun story later fell in love, and have now been married for over six years. Julia is a Pediatric Physician Assistant and Dennis is a pastor.
Jay, Keely, JOEL
These are our children. Jay: compassionate, adventurous, our boy can make a friend anywhere; Keely: joyful, strong, she's the leader of our pack; Joel: awakening to the world with curious eyes and a gleeful smile.
The North Side
It's our neighborhood. We live in Manchester, adjacent to Allegheny West and blocks from the Mexican War Streets. It's historic and beautiful. It's diverse and challenging. It's the place where we are seeking to practice permanence.
